Drop this class if upcoming events interfere with your ability to attend all scheduled class meetings,
including late arrivals or early departures.
Talk with your employer to re-arrange your travel schedule
or cover work shifts. Parents need to have back-up babysitters on stand-by.

In cases of emergency, you will need to contact TWU Student Life at 713-794-2157
and follow university procedures:.

"All excused absences require documentation (ex: physician note or obituaries)
submitted within 30 days of the absence. Please note that a documented absence
does not preclude a student from being responsible for assigned work."

In cases of approved emergencies (as validated by the Student Life Office), students will receive an Incomplete, and be responsible for making up any part of a missed lecture the following semester in a class of their choosing. Unapproved absences at the time grades are submitted will result in an automatic one grade reduction. It is your responsibility to expedite documentation to Student Life..

Guests/visitors are welcome to attend class with you (before class, send STeve an email
with the name of your guest). But please: no one under the age of 15. No children in the classroom.
